CH Core Patient EPR - gender 'unknown'

In Annex 3 of the EDI ordinance, the gender ‘unknown’ is allowed.

In CH Core Patient EPR, the restriction ‘ch-pat-2: gender “unknown” is currently not used in Switzerland in eCH and the EPR’ produces a warning.

Can this warning be removed from CH Core Patient EPR so that it is consistent with Annex 3?

That would not solve the issue for the EPR, where that value is allowed and should not generate a warning.

Since the PID-8 is optional, could we imagine removing it from the EPR value set, after ensuring it has never been used anywhere? Or at least deprecating it? That would justify a warning in the FHIR validation.

the warning comes from CH Core Patient

@PeroGrgic : would it be possible to deprecate that value from the ValueSet? if not, I propose that the warning should be at least adapted or removed
