Collapsable sections have off-color rectangular backgrounds around the "Click to expand" text and the chevron

The title says most of it. See the screenshot below; the issue is also visible in light mode, but only barely.

For likely irrelevant environment context, I'm using Arc Version 1.134.0 (74986) which uses Chromium Engine Version 145.0.7632.45 on MacOS 26.2.

I think the backgrounds are there for contrast, to indicate that they are different from the backlink text. Is your complaint that the text/chevron are disconnected?

If it's there for contrast, why is it almost but not quite invisible in light mode?

Additionally, the text is already brighter as separation even without the background.

It's also weirdly inconsistent in how contrasted it is, with other boxes having either substantially more or no visible contrast at all.

Regardless, even if it's there for contrast (as the penultimate screenshot suggests it is; it is useful there): they don't strictly need to be connected, but the fact that the background is placed asymmetrically around the "click to expand" text where one side has reasonable padding and the other side is weirdly flush exactly against the text it seem very accidental.
