ggrepel advanced options

I am really sad I can not access the advanced ggrepel options.

This looks not so good. In ggtree I can set angle="auto" and it always points outwards.
Is that possible?

metacoder actually does not use the package ggrepel, but it does copy some code from the package, so all the options are not there.

While the outward facing labels do look nice, it might not be the best fit for metacoder since it would only look good on the outside labels and for some layout types. I will think about it some and get back to you. Might be able to add that as a option.
