^ key on an Azerty keyboard not recognized on GTK apps on KDE Plasma #7987

Summary
When you have an Azerty French keyboard, you have a ^ key that you use to "set up" characters like ê or ô. For example, typing ^ then e will create an ê. But on GTK apps, typing ^ doesn't no anything. I didn't have this problem with the GNOME environment, found it specifically on KDE, but it may be the same on other flavours. Problem occurs with eopkg packages and with flatpak packages.
Steps to reproduce
- Have an AZERTY Keyboard.
- Set the keyboard layout to a French layout implementing the ^ key (like French, alt.)
- Try to open a GTK app, for example Pipeline, Tuba or Fractal.
- Try to prompt an ê by typing ^ then e.
- Won't work.
Expected result
Typing ^ then e on any app should create an ê.
Actual result
The ^ key isn't recognized by GTK apps.
