It's fine by me tbh. Ive played a bit with them and while they are cool I still find I use other elements, they don't completly supersedes everything. Although ifit actually does then we should stright up not include it

like shaped crafting mainly

for the record I don't, it's just kind of exhausting and detached to plug everything in and then program patterns until the modpack completes itself offscreen

honestly for components that unlock entire new mechanics I'm not certain the device system is perfectly applicable. like I can see the ae2 company selling them
they're little panels you attach to surfaces and wire together that unlock complex new functionality
