<!-- mi val="comp">harder</mi -->
<!-- mi><par n="long/__adj"/></mi -->
<!-- mi><f val="comp"><tr s="jnw">ˈhɒɻɾɻ̩</tr></mi -->
<!-- what's important to note here is that phonologically the comparative
is reasonably different from "long/longer" [lɒŋ/lɒŋgɻ] -->

As these comments show, an orthographic morphological form may be derivable from an external dependency (an Apertium transducer), but it would be useful to supply pronounced forms as well, which are not derivable from the external dependency.

Additionally, we should consider to what extent this dictionary should be able to stand on its own. It could be useful to have this dictionary structured so that it could be used to build and evaluate a transducer, instead of relying on one to be ~complete.
