Text chat for voice channels

Problem

Discord lets VCs have text chat channels, which is nice for people who are not miced up to join the conversation.

Proposed solution

Add them for parity with discord.

I do really want this feature. There are many people who like to join voice calls but still prefer to type (or sometimes can only type because they aren't in a mic-friendly environment), and so they need text chat.

Before Discord added the embedded text chats to voice channels, everyone I knew would make alternate text chat channels to go along with voice chats, but that clutters up channel lists in a pretty ugly way, and it's pretty unintuitive to join a call and then navigate away from it to go look at an arbitrary matching text channel (and consequently away from video streams anybody might be doing in that very call.) Yes, you can pop out the video and have it follow you to the text chat, but now it's covering up that text chat and can't display multiple videos...

Embedded text chat is the way to go!

One feature I would like to see is an option for the text chat to automatically clear after a certain period of inactivity. For example, if some people join the VC and post a bunch of stuff in the VC's text chat, five minutes after everyone leaves, the text chat gets reset. This would help prevent clutter from previous chats.
