Feature Request: Is there a possibility to have a progress bar interface while a job is running in background?

Hi there! This excellent utility I think is extraordinary and was wondering if there was one feature that could be added that would make it absolutely world class (it is already - but just saying lol):

I would love to be able to display an animated progress bar (hopefully just as beautiful as the survey UI) while a background job is running as a result of a user response or selection. I imagine running a script or job and while its running be able to show progress and then re-prompt next step on its completion.

Could that be implemented somehow? And thanks in advance for even considering this request!
