Well I've realized that in my case it's possible to give two plot elements the same name to have them represented under the same legend entry, so that solves it for my case of having multiple related plot elements without needing multiple legend entries. However, I'll leave this open as I think it could still be useful to know if there was a way to have elements not appear in the legend without needing to grouping them with another element, in case there was ever a time I wanted a standalone element that should always be on the graph (and so should not be grouped with another element that I might want to toggle off) while still having it not appear in the legend. |

Hello, is there a way to hide only certain plot elements from the legend, to reduce clutter? Currently I have both a circle and a set of points that I'm plotting that are always directly related, and I'm looking for some way to represent them as just one thing in the legend because I have many copies of this that I need to plot together and the legend is very quickly getting cluttered
