Putting in an invalid URI makes the settings page unusable in Moodle 4.5

Reproduce by:

Entering an invalid URI in the plugin settings area, click plugin settings again. Only thing shown now is "Exception - Custom endpoint some.fqdn/<something> was not a valid URI

Next step for me, trying to figure out where this plugin stores it's settings so I can reset it... doesn't seem to be in the database.

Having the same issue, I changed the settings in mdl_config_plugins table

update mdl_config_plugins set value = '' where plugin = 'tool_objectfs';

but I still get the error in the admin page

I found the configuration is cached in moodledata/cache/cachestore_file/default_application/core_config/. After purging all caches (and also setting the value as empty using SQL) I was able to enter again to the settings page. I'm not sure whether only deleting the specific cache file would also work.
