Unable to load intl extension

I have an issue where I'm getting the following warning:

Any idea where I'm going wrong? I'm using docker images with the following Dockerfile:

I tried changing from:

FROM bref/php-81-fpm

To:

FROM bref/php-81-fpm-dev

Which seems to maybe solve the issue. I found this suggestion in another discussion. How does the bref/php-81-fpm-dev differ from bref/php-81-fpm?

Now I'm getting the following error:

/bref-entrypoint.sh: line 8: /var/task/public/index.php: Permission denied

So I added:

RUN chmod 777 /var/task/public/index.php

However, this started to treat my PHP script as a shell script:

/var/task/public/index.php: line 1: ?php: No such file or directory

I'm trying to run a standard Symfony app. It was working before using v1 of Bref, but now most things seem broken.

Try FROM bref/php-81-fpm:1 and bref/extra-imagick-php-81:0.12.1, or FROM bref/php-81-fpm:2 and bref/extra-imagick-php-81:1

Looking again at the Dockerfile I think some of the tasks you perform in the container might be messing up the paths set up in PHP (not sure why exactly).

You might want to try to remove all the instructions and see why one causes issues?

Or else actually you could also try extension=/opt/bref/extensions/intl.so ?

I updated my Dockerfile to remove most stuff. But now my index.php file is being executed as a shell script?

FROM bref/php-81-fpm-dev -> that is a dev image, you don't want to deploy that to AWS Lambda that will not work
