@zamentur Hi, I think I just saw this phrase at https://github.com/midday-ai/midday and started using it too. But yes, you're right, it causes a legal contradiction, so I'll correct the text. |

Hello,
I am a YunoHost contributor. Our community ask us for adding your software to a wishlist of apps not already packaged for yunohost (see yunohost catalog). Being in this wishlist allows yunohost packagers to find new software and consider packaging them... Being packaged allows to increase the number of instance your solution.
I need to validate some conditions to allow your software to be in the list. Indeed the app need to be a free software (sometimes we add software with non commercial clause, so those software are not totally free in the FSF definition).
So i am trying to understand the license of this project, and firstly see AGPLv3 (with github summary explaining commercial use is ok) BUT i also see in the readme a non-commercial clause added 4 month ago... So it's quite confusing.
If i remember well AGPLv3 can't be restricted for non commercial use. You should use an other kind of license (i know some creative commons allows non commercial use)...
So for the moment, i let the PR open, i encourage you to fix this legal issue and adopt a more understandable (and legal) licensing policy.
On our side if it's fixed, i think we could consider adding the software (even if it's restricted for non commercial use).
Note: i have tons of other apps to review, so i don't guarantee i could answer here. Sorry...
