Background tasks, exclude overlapped time.

Hi, please can I request a new feature.

Can you set a task as a background task where overlapping time does not count to the total for this task or a mode where this is the default.

Use case is having an entry for a ticket (Jira etc) which is my primary focus today, will often start at start of working day and end at end of working day or earlier if I complete.

Other entries during this time would be for unrelated meetings, breaks etc. so I want this time to not count against the tag for the ticket entry.

Interesting idea ... there have been related suggestions regarding how to deal with overlapping records.
