New user - stuck at requirements.txt install

Hello, I'm new to using terminal, but I feel like I'm close. I have ffmpeg and libvips downloaded as well as homebrew and Python. I'm running into issues installing requirements.txt - am I supposed to do this step in Python? Even if I launch a terminal at the folder level of SnapchatMemoriesCaptionAdder-main, I get a message saying it can't find requirements.txt. Any guidance at this stage is greatly appreciated.

Hey! Not your fault, this is an error I haven't run into since I'm on Linux, will need to add it to the documentation.

You're nearly there, we're going to do what the error message is advising us to do.

1. Open a terminal window in the SnapchatMemoriesCaptionAdder folder
2. Run python3 -m venv venv (This will make a new environment in a folder called venv)
3. Run source venv/bin/activate (This will activate the new environment)
4. Run the python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt command. (This will install the dependencies into the venv folder, instead of the system, which is what externally-managed-environment is rightfully complaining about.)

Any time you open a new terminal window to run this program, you'll need to do step 3 again to activate the environment.

Let me know if you run into any other issues, I'll leave this issue open until you're successful and I update the README.

(Important note - you need to run brew install ffmpeg@6, not brew install ffmpeg. ffmpeg 7 doesn't work right now - #7 ) This is outdated, we now support ffmpeg 7.
