Figure out why Vetur is so damn slow

Describe the bug

When coding in visual studio, the Vetur plugin / linters can be extremely slow.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open code in VS Code (ensure that you have save on lint enabled)
2. Edit a file
3. Save
4. Wait forever for the file to save.

Expected behavior
Saving and linting should be fast and efficient.
