How to get started with the methodology

The short version

1. Read methodology/README.md. The section headings are the navigable index.
2. When a concept interests you, follow the inline links to the specific document.
3. When ready to apply: copy claude-setup/ into your project.
4. The AI reads the methodology documents and provides tailored support for your project.

What you need

• A CLI-based AI tool (Claude Code works best, Cursor and Windsurf also work)
• A project to apply the methodology to
• Willingness to plan before building

What this is NOT for

• Quick scripts or one-off prototypes where architectural consistency does not matter
• Projects without programming fundamentals
• Web-based AI chat (paste into browser). The methodology requires CLI tool access for hooks, validators, and session governance.
