getting stuck and cant use ver 1.5

whenever i try playing this mod in the newest version of BATIM i get frozen at the first cutscene and if i try to boot it up in the version 1.5 a bunch of errors appear and its just a black screen i would really like a responce thanks the screenshot below is what happens when i boot it up in ver 1.5

I had the same problem, but I found a solution. I downloaded an earlier version through steamdb.info.
The October 2018 one from this link https://steamdb.info/depot/622651/manifests/
I think this is version 1.4.1, so it might have a few bugs not related to the vr mod.
So far no softlocks after cutscenes.

These are cached versions of the game from steam's servers that are downloaded using the steam console.
Before copying over, delete the "Bendy and the Ink Machine_Data" folder in the original game directory.
After the console downloads it will tell you the directory it is in, copy the contents of the "..\app_622650\depot_622651" folder to the original game directory.
Then just uninstall and reinstall the vr mod.
