Version 2 and Friends

I saw in the To Do list for version 2 an item to remove the friends system. I'm just curious as to why.

@fpolli My plan was to slim down the package to pure "messaging" while making it easy to plugin modules, such as friends. Version 2 is still very much up in the air, but it will most likely not be compatible with version 1 as I view it as a complete rewrite.
