After reviewing the spec, we are positively impressed with how well-documented and comprehensive the design is. This being said, openjd would be a good addition to opencue, giving it not only the possibility to interface with different farm management solutions but would also improve the quality of the definition of a job and its correlated assets.

As opencue is already integrated into Imagework's pipeline and is the only farm management tool in-house, we don't have a strong case to prioritize implementing openjd over the other initiatives we've been working on. For this reason, having someone from Openjd's community kicking off the implementation with help from the Opencue TSC team would, in my opinion, be a good way to get Opencue integrated with openjd, at least as a starting point.
