Hi, @04shubham7 I’d like to take up this issue. I plan to implement a WebSocket (Socket.IO) based chat system that allows authenticated users to communicate about listings securely.

Proposed Approach:

Socket.IO Setup: Integrate Socket.IO on both the server and client for real-time messaging.

Room Management: Create dynamic chat rooms for each listing, so only users interested in a particular listing can communicate there.

Message Persistence: Store chat messages in a database (e.g., MongoDB or PostgreSQL) to allow users to see chat history.

Security: Ensure that only authenticated users in the relevant room can send or receive messages.

This approach ensures secure, real-time communication between users while maintaining proper access control per listing.
