websmartcard application

hello, how can i access the websmartcard application with pynitrokey which should be available since nitrokey-3-firmware 1.5.8?

i would like to get familiar with the websmartcard features and test your javascript library.

step 1 at https://webcrypt.nitrokey.com/ (reset) does not work for me so far:

Hi @kizm0, the websmartcard application was only available in test releases but we have since removed it to reduce maintenance efforts and due to the lack of compatible applications. v1.7.2-test.20240813 was the last release that supported it. To test it, you would need a Nitrokey 3 that has not yet been updated to v1.8.0 or later or a Nitrokey 3 hacker device.
