GPP and PSN Outputs Are NaN Over Land in Noah-MP with GLDAS Forcing

Hi everyone,

I’m running the Noah-MP model with GLDAS forcing data and the dynamic vegetation option set to 4. However, I found that the model outputs for both GPP and PSN are NaN over land areas (show as the pictures




).

I have checked my input data and model configuration but couldn’t figure out the reason for this. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or know what could cause NaN values in GPP and PSN outputs? Could it be related to the vegetation parameters, photosynthesis scheme, or forcing data?

Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to use (1) ball-berry stomatal resistance scheme and (2) activate the dynamic vegetation scheme to have values for GPP and PSN.
