Proxy Timeout

I've got a proxy error when trying to access the field retrieval API and VC-list at the test instance:

Accessing the API directly works, so the error is probably because of timeout. It takes a lot of time to generate textSigles for the first case, and to compute statistics for the second case.

It is probably good to cache the VC statistics.

The 2nd request actually won't finish after an hour. I am investigating the problem.

Is it an Apache proxy error or a Kalamar proxy error?

There is no error message. It just hangs. There is probably some issue at the back-end.

Sounds like an error I once had with a different API. The problem lies in the handling of proxy requests between our Apache servers and the APIs. The request is terminated incorrectly. Check whether the following parameters are included in the Apache config:

ProxyPass         /api  "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/api" retry=0 disablereuse=on
ProxyPassReverse  /api  "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/api"

the options retry=0 disablereuse=on are mandatory.
replace xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with api-Server IP.

The 2nd problem also occurs when accessing the API directly, without ProxyPass. I have created another issue to discuss about it because it involves a deadlock in Krill.
