Release version 2.0

I take the request to move ASDF2.jl (now ASDF.jl) to JuliaAstro as an increase in interest in this package. We should brainstorm which features should be there before it is generally useful (if it isn't already). We should then release a version 1.0 2.0.

Do you know what the process might look like to "rename" ASDF2.jl to ASDF.jl, and if a move like this would be reasonable?

Renaming a package is difficult. Technically, this requires creating a new package with the new name. I think the simplest way would be to copy the content of ASDF2.jl into ASDF.jl, and make a release with a new major version number (i.e. larger than the current ASDF.jl version number).

I'm not sure this is a good idea.

What exactly are your proposing for moving ASDF2.jl to ASDF.jl? Do you envision just moving the source code, or are there other changes you'd like to see at the same time?

Hi Erik, exactly, essentially just a codebase substitution. We just wanted to make sure that things like your git history were preserved in the process, and Fergus has experience with this, so they offered to assist. We leave it up to your discretion if you would also prefer to make a breaking release or not. Please correct me if any of that is inaccurate, Fergus.
