Unable to connect to Kick.com RTMPS server using HaishinKit (Connection fails)

Observed behavior

Hello,

I am developing an IRL streaming iOS application using HaishinKit and trying to stream to Kick via RTMPS, but the connection cannot be established.

Expected behavior

When I start publishing with HaishinKit using:

• rtmps://fa723fc1b171.global-contribute.live-video.net
• stream key as publishName

The app should:

• Successfully complete the RTMPS/TLS handshake
• Establish the RTMP session (connect → createStream → publish)
• Start sending audio/video without disconnecting

I initially received an unsupportedCommand error because the URL was rtmps:/fa723fc1b171.global-contribute.live-video.net/app

After correcting it to rtmps://fa723fc1b171.global-contribute.live-video.net/app, the connection appears to proceed normally at first:

However, immediately after the handshake completes, the connection resets back to uninitialized, and startPublishing() fails with an invalidState (state 3) error:

Could you help me understand why the connection resets after handshakeDone and what might be causing the invalidState (state 3) error?

I was able to start streaming successfully

However, it seems there’s still a small bug related to the rtmps:/ URL format — it probably needs a fix to properly handle or validate incorrect RTMPS schemes.
