Snow-DA: Using Sturm1997 formulation for snow thermal conductivity

Hi,
I noticed the recent developments introduced in HPSCTerrSys/eCLM#101 and I would like to understand how these changes should be integrated when running snow-DA experiments.

• Which parts of the new implementation need to be activated or configured for snow-DA?
• Are there any changes required in the namelist or model configuration?

Any information on how to correctly implement these updates in a snow-DA workflow would be helpful.

• Snow thermal conductivity changes: Sturm1997 and Jordan1991 eCLM#101 (comment)
• implementation will be tested, branches dev-pdaf-snow and dev-pdaf-snow-params now contain the option for Sturm1997 computation of snow thermal conductivity
