Update inventory creator script to only collect metadata on GSA code repos #6
Description
Issue Description:
This task supports the GSA CTO Digital Service team with creating the agency source code inventory. We currently have a script/tool that is the crux of the repo but it collects all GitHub GSA org repos, not only the ones with the codeinventory.yml file which should be the ones with only code in them.
Specific tasks:
- Modify the script in this repo to only look for GSA code repos that have the codeinventory.yml file in it.
- Do a comparison of total repos with only code repos to determine aggregate numbers of each.
- Provide a solution that can be run on a regular basis by those that access to the GSA GitHub org.
- Make a solution that other agencies could adopt easily to create their own code.json inventory.
