make app start recording as soon as it starts up

is this still neccesary given that we can find ads based on 15 second samples? Maybe?

Well, right now, recording is the only function that the app has, right?
So essentially, if a user wants to open it, they want to make a recording.
Might as well make it record on open until we have something like a a
history of past query results, or something
