Description
Since skins are in the works, I would like to suggest a skin that uses the canvas space more effectively. Just spacing the keys apart a bit and cropping off the edges of the calculator gains a lot of room.
The default colour contrast is quite low. I think keeping the aesthetic of a real calculator is a good goal, but real calculators are able to use less stark colours because real buttons have characteristics like depth, tactile feedback, etc. A least one version which follows accessibility guidelines would be ideal.
I would make the skin myself, but I don’t have access to a computer for Inkscape and I’m not a designer. Even this mock-up I made on an iPad app exported incorrectly in multiple ways, so I don’t think it’s possible for me to contribute directly. However, it is hopefully useful for getting the general idea across.
Besides that, the app is so useful. This is the only open-source calculator (that I could figure out how to use) which actually converts between decimal and fractions! I am keeping it installed no matter what just for that. Thank you!
