Trouble login into Azure via "az" command

I'm trying to login from my Mac-book to Azure using the command 'az". Here are the steps I took:
1- az login --use-device-code
2- az account clear
3- az logout
4- az login <----- This opens a web browser on Firefox with alogin window, after I provide my email address I get teh following error message:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to localhost:57214. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I cleared all the cache of the Firefox web browser and tried the above steps again bit still get teh same error and can't login to my Azure account via "az login" command. I can login to the Azure web-portal successfully on the same browser!
