What haven't I considered.

I hate programming in anything but csharp but csharp's ui libraries are not cross platform or they are bare minimum and are so complex they don't work for me.

Avalonia ui has a designer in rider which helps me out a ton.
I still don't understand avalonia themes though.

Additional context

I am making a traditional desktop application so I am testing your library in ways it probably isn't tested much, since it looks like it's mostly based around mobile and web.

I can't see how that can be made to work. In the linked thread I already showed you a working solution which is how the control is designed.
