I can consistently crash speakersafetyd by playing mpv 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyKTRZcOSGU' at full volume.
Is this expected behavior?

J313 is very bass-heavy and I do plan on retuning it at some point in the future. In the meantime, try turning down the amt parameter for Bankstown to something like 1.05-1.2 in /usr/share/asahi-audio/j313/graph.json and see if that helps. I assume it's the punchy kick on this track triggering this.
