How to set current line background even while it has a selection?

I was able to set a background color for the current line just fine:

However ,when the current line has a selection it either gets removed or if it exists I have the color set to no color or its set to the sme color as my general background color:

I tried looking through the wiki but couldn't find a solution, is there a variable/setting to set it? Thanks.

Ah thanks! That's really great to hear.

changed a little: now I removed the option because I dont see that other editors have such an option. (e.g. Notepad++ always hilites the line with caret.) now cur-line is always hilited, even with selection.
