Sometimes I find myself actually NEEDING the authentication prompt, e.g. to choose another windows hello method or particularly with passkeys where those aren’t stored on the attached FIDO2 device.
My only way right now is to kill AuthenticationChooser (AC) via task manager which seems rather unclean.
I would love a small tray icon (that I would probably hide in the overflow menu anyways) and have two options for the tray icon context menu:
Disable would simply unhook/skip AC grabbing all auth popups and I could re enable after the prompt I was aiming for. Exit would… take a wild guess.
