I'm looking into adding custom metadata (device id) to DNS requests using EDNS0 options. Before implementing this myself, I wanted to check:
• Is there already support in this project for attaching custom EDNS0 options to DNS queries?
• If so, what’s the recommended way to define and include custom user parameters?
• Are there any examples or constraints I should be aware of?
This would help us pass additional context through DNS in a standards-compliant way, without altering the core query data.
Any guidance or pointers would be appreciated!
